If it's not one thing it's another...

So as you all know, Lucca has really bad reflux.. and it just seems to be getting worse the older he gets, instead of getting better. Well luckily it has been getting better with medicine, but recently he started having trouble swallowing again so I was thinking "great here we go again", because he is already on the maximum dose of prevasid and if that doesn't work the next step is to put a scope down his throat and that requires putting him under anesthesia which I do NOT want to do this early on... THEN he started coughing...ALOT.. so I thought maybe he was getting a cold, so we took him to the doc and come to find out..he doesn't have a cold.. He has developed pus pockets on his tonsils from food that he refluxes settling on his tonsils and forming pus pockets..yay lol So NOW he is on Amoxacillin (sp) . my son is a medicine cabinet if i ever saw one lol. So hopefully that will get rid of them and the coughing will subside.

Lucca now has 5 teeth and the 6th one is working its way through. He looks like a little jack-o-lantern. so freaking cute! He is such a happy baby and is growing so dern fast. He is already wearing 12-18 month clothes and he isn't even 10 months yet! He is just so LONG. Thank goodness we have Graysons old clothes!!!

He still isn't crawling but he is rolling around everywhere like a roly poly hehe. Lucca and I went to church this morning for the first time since he has been born..I know, we are so bad. I have been wanting to get back but he has been sick all the time and I know that is no excuse but I just thought it would be really hard. But now that he is getting bigger and better I figured we better get back, so Lucca and I went and enjoyed a fantastic service.. and he was so handsome!

Fall, costumes, and teeth!

I finally got my Scentsy stuff in that I ordered..My house is smelling SO GOOOD! And for some weird reason I have been in cleaning mode every weekend..very weird, but my house is staying clean! I love the fall season!! And it is FINALLY starting to feel good outside!

I can't believe my child is already 9 months old...crazy how fast time flies! I just ordered his halloween costume for this year! Hopefully it fits! hehe he is going to be so cute =) I want to take him to a Pumpkin Patch..does anyone know of any good ones that are relatively close??

It seems like Lucca has been constantly teething since he was 4 months.. Poor little guy has FOUR teeth in the process of coming in right now, and I KNOW he is M-I-S-E-R-A-B-L-E!! Because I know I am! lol I am lacking so much sleep right now that I feel like I'm always grouchy and I HATE being grouchy! I try to put Orajel on them but he HATES that and he is becoming immune to the teething tablets I think, so I don't know what else to do to ease his pain besides letting him chew on teething rings, which he gets tired of after about 5 mintues..sigh... He is going to have a head full of teeth for his first birthday though! Which by the way is in 3 Months! I have to start planning!

Teething and Scentsy Candles

I forgot to mention in my last post that Lucca has been teething like crazy..He is THE drooly monster if there ever was one. He got his bottom 2 teeth in about a month or so ago and he just got his third tooth in....his FANG tooth! Not his top teeth (those are breaking through also), but the fang tooth..lol he look so cute and funny when he smiles. I keep trying to et a pic of him but I'm not quick enough. But poor little guy has like 3 teeth coming through at the same time! No wonder he gets cranky! hehe.

So, a friend of a friend invited me to a "Scentsy Party" which is wickless, flameless candles. So I figured I would go and check it out. They are so cool! They have SO MANY different warmers to choose from and then you buy the scented "bars/bricks" that melt on top of the warmers. I ended up gettin 3 warmers, a plug-in, and a car candle! lol I see a new addiction coming on. And they come out with a "warmer and scent of the month" every month. There are so many different scents it was so hard to choose a few. But they aren't expensive at all and they are so decorative.
