17 months old!

Lucca turned 17 months old today! My little boy is growing up so fast! Time is definitely flying right before my eyes. I can't believe he will be 2 years old at the end of this year... We went down to the pool today to relax a little bit since it wasn't TOOO hot. Lucca loves the water more and more every time we go. We also took him to the little park down by our house and put him in the swing for the first time (at the park)...he loves to swing at MiMi and PawPaw's house =) HOPEFULLY this fun-filled day will have worn him out so he will sleep good for mama tonight =) Here are some pics of my lil man..

Weekend full of excitement!

This weekend was full of all kinds of excitement! Saturday we took Lucca down to our community pool.. Daddy was trying to teach him how to float. lol It took him a while to warm up to the water but he eventually starting splashing the water with both hands and thought it was absolutely hilarious! I definitely have an outside baby! And he LOOOVES the water!

Then on Sunday, May 16th, my friend from xray school was being induced. She was expecting a little boy, and he made his debut at 6:03 pm. 20 in. long weighing 7lbs 12 oz. Welcome to the world,

Isaac Mathis Hodges!!

All of this was soo exciting and such good news, but NOTHING beats what Lucca did Sunday afternoon.... He CRAWLED/SCOOTED across the floor for the FIRST time by himself!!! It is more like a sidewinder snake crawl but I will take it!! I am soo proud of my lil booger I could cry! This was so exciting to see, and it makes me feel so hopeful that he is coming along!! I can't wait to so his therapist this morning! HOPEFULLY he will do it again for her hehe.

Lovin' the Outside

We decided to take Lucca outside for a little bit this weekend since the weather was SOOO nice! He absolutely LOVES the outside! And I bought him a little pool so he could enjoy it all by himself this summer! We put him in it for the first time and he had a blast playin with his lil bath fishies! Here are a few pictures...

Summer is finally here!!

This weekend the weather was so nice! We went over to my friend's MiMis house and had a cookout and played in the pool.. The water was FREEZING but Lucca still loved it! I can't wait for the weather to get even warmer so we can go to the pool again..Here are a few pics of my lil guy...more to come as summer goes on !
